Jigsaw Deluxe Makes Jigsaw Puzzles Fun Again!

Jigsaw Deluxe really does make jigsaw puzzles fun! The game combines the classic jigsaw puzzle with casual game elements found in marble popping games such as Luxor. The combination really brings new life into a classic pastime!
Upon starting Jigsaw Deluxe you are presented with a choice of options. You can choose the picture on the puzzle you wish to play and the shape of the puzzle pieces. When you first start you see that only the first picture and shape options are available, the rest are locked. To unlock the other pictures and shapes you must enable them by spending a certain number of points that you earn by solving puzzles. The points needed can by seen by rolling over the option’s icon. In addition to the pictures in the puzzle and the shape of the pieces you can set the number of the pieces as well. The higher the number of pieces the more difficult the puzzle is to solve. The harder puzzles offer more points.
Once you start a puzzle, you will notice the pieces are released and travel around the puzzle toward an exit similar to the marble popping games. If even one piece reaches the exit you lose! As you remove pieces and place them on the puzzle, the chain shortens and you gain points. The faster you solve the puzzle the more bonus points you receive.
The gameplay is great! There are many special powerups that can help you solve the puzzle, the background shows a slightly darkened version of the puzzle so it is easier to match the pieces to their position and if you do not want to rush the game it has a relax mode that is not timed!
