Buggle Stars a Great Jumping Platform Flash Puzzle Game

In our last posting we let you know about the great new game company formed by the authors of Destop Tower Defense casualcollective.com. Today they have made available a fun little platform puzzle jumping race game. It reminds us a little of another great game we have posted Frizzle Fraz.  Instead of focusing on just level completion and the rescue aspect found in Frizzle Fraz, Buggle Stars is more oriented toward puzzle solving and speed.

The object of the game is to collect the stars that appear one by one. Each star will only appear on the screen for a given amount of time. if you do not collect it in the time available you will fail the level. If you grab the star before it’s time expires you receive some points. The faster you grab the star the more points you receive. You must obtain a minimum number of points in each level to unlock the next.

Although you mainly use simple arrow key commands to move you do have a couple of special moves such as the super jump and the ability to push buttons that must be used to complete even the early levels. Make sure you pay attention in the short but useful tutorial level, you do need to know how to activate buttons to start the first real level!

The other thing to mention about this game is it really is a mood lifter. Even though you are timed to complete each level it is surprisingly stress free compared to other similar games. The music is great and seems to add to the games mood lifting abilities. So if you are a little down or stressed this game is a great pick me up!
