The Space Game is real time simulation space game from the Casual Collective. As we have mentioned here before we are great fans of the games produced by this studio.
In The Space Game you set out to mine planets of minerals. You start off with a single unit a solar station and grow a web of power carrying energy relays connecting your mining outposts.
But life would be boring if games were only building mining outposts and collecting minerals! As your outpost grows you will start to attract waves of pirates interested in destroying your mines and taking your hard earned ore.
Of course you are not going to willingly let the pirates grab your goodies….. So as you build your network you also build weapons ready to respond to the oncoming assaults. You are also equipped with an early warning system which allows you to detect the number and kind of incoming enemy ships. This system gives you plenty of time to adjust and upgrade your defenses to repel the attack.
The game is complete with a fairly tame campaign mode, extremely challenging mining modes and suicidal survival modes. The game also comes with two unlockable bonus modes. The game also has a tutorial but you are advised to follow the tutorial instructions exactly as you may end up in a dead end with no recourse except to reload the game.

SpiderGame is just plain beautiful! The graphics and animation are really outstanding for a free Flash game! In SpiderGame you are a hungry forest dwelling spider looking for some lunch. Your favorite meal consists of big juicy bugs and mosquitoes. In order to grab a meal you have to jump up and bite into one of your potential snacks as it flies overhead. You do this by using your down arrow key to crouch for a jump. The longer you hold the key the higher your jump when released. Since your are very nimble you are able to grab your prey both on the way up and on the way down from your jump. In fact you can even grab multiple smaller bugs in your mouth on each jump. Doing this translates into a full tummy and more points! Larger bugs may however continue to fly after you take your first bite, but if you successfully eat a whole big bug you will also be awarded bonus points!
Forest life is not always easy. Not all the bugs taste good and in fact some are poisonous to you. You have to learn which bugs are safe and which are not. Some bugs are just downright dangerous! Avoid lightning bugs at all cost as they will literally shock the life out of you!
