Shift! Try it You’ll Like It!

Bottom Line Shift is just Cool! As we have pointed out in the past two of the major complaints heard from casual gamers is that most casual games are not original and they just are too easy. For the most part we at gamegiants.net also agree with all of you! So part of our mission is to sort through all the lame games out there and present the best free games we can find to list in our arcade and here on our blog! Shift is one of those games.

We recently came across Shift which looked at first to be a standard platform jumper but we decided to give it a try anyway. We are really glad we did!

As the game starts Shift looks really plain. Hey where is the color you scream! What is with this silhouette stuff? But if you solider on into the tutorial and have the patience to make it to the fourth lesson (pictured in the screenshot above). It all makes sense! As the Caption says “Sometimes the Only Thing Left to Try is Shift“. So you go ahead and take the hint and hit the “Shift Key”.  Your world is quickly turned upside down and your color changes to it’s opposite. Black to white and white to black. Hopefully this reversed environment will now allow you to continue on and head for the exit door and the next level. Make sure you jump the spikes or you might be seeing alot of the games third color…. red. As the levels progress keys and doors will be added. Once a key is grabbed a given door will change position allowing you to progress. For those who do not think the game is challenging enough a timer is added, timing your gameplay, once you get a feel for the game!

Challenging? The game can be utterly confusing and sometimes simply difficult! But you will enjoy every minute you play! Try out Shift today!
